Condemning the statement of Udhayanidhi Stalin, the cabinet minister son of the DMK chief and Tamil Nadu chief minister Stalin on Sanatan Dharma, Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that it shows the mindset of the opposition parties. He said that the comment made by Udhayanidhi is highly deplorable.
Dhami said that none of the partner parties in the Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) alliance has said anything on the highly deplorable statement of Udhayanidhi which is an indication of their mindset and belief about Sanatan Dharma.
The CM said that the Sanatan Dharma is eternal and is very scientific. Sanatan dharma will remain in existence for eternity. He said that the people of the country will not tolerate such highly deplorable comments and will give a fitting reply to all the parties having such a highly offending thought about Sanatan Dharma.
Udhayanidhi triggered a political row when he equated the Sanatan Dharma with mosquito, dengue and malaria. He opined that it should be eradicated like these ailments.
