Becomes first CM to spend the night in summer capital when Assembly not in session

Bharadisain in the summer capital Gairsain generally bustles with activity when the government decides to hold the Vidhan Sabha session there. However, Wednesday saw considerable governmental activity with chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and senior bureaucrats present in the summer capital to deliberate upon important issues. Dhami attended an important meeting to discuss the proposed land law and also chaired a meeting of the Rural Development and Migration Prevention Commission. Deciding to spend the night in Gairsain, he has become the first CM to spend the night in the summer capital at a time when the Assembly session is not being held there.The CM also interacted with the local residents and sought their feedback on the issues they are facing and the impact of governmental services and schemes.
The summer capital generally becomes the hub of activity during the budget session of the Vidhan Sabha. However, the Assembly building in Bharadisain was bustling with activity on Wednesday as the CM held important meetings with senior officials and retired public servants. Dhami first held a meeting with senior officials and retired officials regarding the proposed land law. After this meeting, he chaired a meeting of the Rural Development and Migration Prevention Commission. After this important meeting, he attended a State-level workshop on rural entrepreneurship development in which representatives of women self help groups and rural entrepreneurs from across the State shared their views. After attending the three events, the CM, instead of returning to Dehradun, decided to spend the night in Bharadisain. He interacted with the local residents and asked them about the issues they face in the area.
