Says Cong won’t benefit in election from gimmicks
During his one month in office so far, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has proved his commitment to development. Stating this, the Bharatiya Janata Party state president Madan Kaushik said that youths of the state are enthused due to Dhami being the chief minister and this will definitely benefit the party in the 2022 Assembly elections. Kaushik claimed that while the state government is reaching even the last person in need, the MLAs, ministers and senior office bearers of the party organisation are spending time in their respective areas and addressing public grievances. He further said that the BJP is moving ahead seriously on its 2022 roadmap. A workshop will be held this month which will be attended by senior party workers. The BJP will approach the public with the issues of development and its service, he said.
Referring to the Chintan Shivir of the Congress, Kaushik said that the Congress has not been able to fulfill the role of the opposition. It remained silent in the Vidhan Sabha and failed to work among the people. The Congress spent all its time in the tussle for leadership and has lost the trust of the public, he said. “The Congress won’t benefit from its gimmicks in the election. Even during the Covid pandemic, the people learnt of the reality of the Congress which was busy staging protests when other parties and social organisations were serving the public in difficult times. The Congress only wants power but the people have understood it,” said the BJP state president.
