Dhami holds roadshow, public meeting in Ranikhet in support of BJP candidate Tamta

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took out a roadshow in support of BJP candidate from Almora (SC) constituency Ajay Tamta in Ranikhet on Saturday. He also addressed a public meeting at KMOU station parking. Addressing the people, the CM said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has served the nation well for the last 10 years and he has dedicated his life in the service of Mother India.
He said that under the leadership of PM Modi the country has reached new heights in development. He said that the government schemes are for the development of the last man standing on the social ladder. The Modi government has remained dedicated to the development of border areas and welfare of the poor, women and youth. The CM listed many welfare schemes which the government has started and said that it is the guarantee of PM Modi that the benefit of all the schemes initiated by him reaches the poor. Dhami said that in the last 10 years 25 crore people have come out of poverty in the country.
He said that Ranikhet is the centre of the Kumaon regiment and Uttarakhand is land of braves. He said that under leader the leadership of PM Modi, the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) has been implemented in the country and the section 370 of the constitution was abrogated. He added that the long cherished dream of construction of a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya has been fulfilled.
Dhami said that the State is moving forward on the path of development under the leadership of PM Modi. He said that the passage of a bill in Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the State assembly, stringent anti-copying act, anti riot ordinance and action against land Jihad are some of the achievements of the BJP government of Uttarakhand.
He said that recently inauguration and foundation stone laying of projects worth Rs 18,000 crore were done in Almora. The air service from Haldwani to Champawat and Pithoragarh, Munsiyari have also started.
Launching an attack on the Congress party, the CM said that though it ruled the country for 60 years it has increased corruption. He exhorted the people to vote for BJP candidate Ajay Tamta.
