CM inaugurates development works worth Rs 94.28 crore for Pauri
The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday launched Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Free Gas Refill Scheme at Kandolia ground in Pauri district along with the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Rekha Arya. He launched this scheme by providing benefits of the scheme to 23 women in the district. He also laid the foundation stone and inaugurated development works worth Rs 94.28 crore for the development of the district. Dhami also directed officials to make an action plan for the distribution of sugar and salt along with cooking oil and spices at low prices through the public distribution system. Dhami said that under this Antyodaya scheme, the government will provide three free gas refills to Antyodaya families in one year, which will benefit about 1.76 lakh Antyodaya card holders living across the State. He said that this scheme will strengthen the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make the life of women, especially in mountainous areas, easier and better.
The CM in his address also talked about sanctioning funds for the early completion of the construction work of the Pauri Bus Stand. He also announced the construction work of multi-storey parking in Pauri besides carrying out beautification of the main market of Pauri and developing it as a heritage road from Dhara Road to Agency Chowk. He also announced the construction work of a 42-metre bridge on the Khoh river near the Dugadda block of Yamkeshwar. The chief minister also congratulated the district for securing the first position in the State by approving 2,136 loans against the total target of 2,100 under the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) and securing the second position in the State by approving 636 loans against the target of 500 under the Mukhyamantri Swarozgar Yojana. Cabinet minister Dhan Singh Rawat was also among those present on the occasion.
