In latest news from Doon, with talks on cabinet expansion and BJP’s organisational rejig swirling in the State’s political corridors, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is leaving for Delhi again. Though the CM’s trip is being portrayed as a private visit the political circles are agog with expansion and rejig surmises. Dhami will first go to Odisha on a private programme and from there he will fly to Delhi. He is expected to reach the national capital in the afternoon. As per BJP insiders, he is likely to meet the party’s top brass in Delhi.
The process of the party’s organisational rejig may start with the State president Mahendra Bhatt’s replacement before the end of March. Though things are still mired in speculative murkiness intense lobbying is discernible in the saffron ranks.
