The media in charge of the Uttarakhand BJP, Manvir Singh Chauhan has said that Champawat is the land of justice in the true sense and the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami would register a record victory in the assembly by -elections. Responding to the recent statement made by former chief minister Harish Rawat in which he had said about putting an application in the court of Golu Devta on the defeat of Congress party in the assembly election, Chauhan said that Rawat should first of all submit an application against those leaders of Congress party who always conspire for his defeat. Golu Devta is considered as the god of justice.
He said that the statement of Harish Rawat in which he has said that the BJP has won the election on the basis of false promises and by spreading false rumour is an insult of the mandate given by the people of Uttarakhand. Chauhan said that the Congress leaders should first find a candidate who could contest the by elections from Champawat. He said that in view of the assured victory of CM Dhami no leader of Congress party is ready to contest from Champawat. Chauhan said that instead of making useless comments Harish Rawat should work hard to ensure a respectable defeat for the party’s candidate in Champawat otherwise the Congress candidate is sure to forfeit his deposit.
