Dhami takes out roadshow, holds public meeting in support of Baluni in Tharali

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took out a roadshow and addressed a public meeting at Tharali in Chamoli district on Friday. Addressing the gathering he exhorted the people to ensure victory of BJP candidate Anil Baluni from Garhwal Lok Sabha constituency. He said that India is moving ahead on the path of development under the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that India has emerged as a stronger country in the world and despite the pandemic of Covid-19, the country has become the fifth largest economy of the world. He said that 15 new All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) have come up in the last 10 years and 74 new airports have been constructed in the country. PM Modi has made Mana village in Chamoli the first village of the country. Dhami further said that in the last 10 years, 25 crore people have come out of poverty in the country. The CM said that 50 crore people have been linked with banking facilities. Under Modi’s leadership, CAA has been implemented and section 370 of the constitution was abrogated and the long cherished dream of construction of a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya has been fulfilled.
Dhami said that the State is moving forward on the path of development under the leadership of PM Modi. He listed the passage of a bill in Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the State Assembly, stringent anti-copying act, anti-riot ordinance and action against land Jihad as some of the achievements of the BJP government of Uttarakhand. Dhami said that developmental projects worth Rs 45 crore were inaugurated recently for the people of Tharali. He also recalled his association with the area and campaign done for the party candidate in the Assembly election of 2022. Targetting the Congress party he said that it is ready to stoop down to any level to come to power.
Baluni said that PM Modi has special affection towards Chamoli district and Uttarakhand. He informed people about the developmental works initiated by him during his term as Rajya Sabha MP.
Cabinet minister Dhan Singh Rawat, Tharali MLA BR Tamta, Karnprayag MLA Anil Nautiyal and others were present on the occasion.
