The State education, health and cooperative minister Dhan Singh Rawat called on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and apprised him of the progress made recently in the fields of education, health and cooperatives in Uttarakhand.
Rawat said that it was a courtesy call and he had congratulated Modi on becoming the second PM of India for a straight third term. He further said he had received guidance from the PM on how to take things on in future. It is learnt that Rawat informed the PM of the steps the State government has taken in implementing the National Education Policy 2020, reserving 50 per cent seats for women in student and cooperative unions and Ayushman scheme among others.
