Popular Katha Vachak Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham arrived in Badrinath on Sunday. He was received by the Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee vice chairman Kishore Panwar on his arrival in the temple township. Shastri paid obeisance at the Badrinath temple at about 4 PM along with the Khak Chowk head Baba Balaknath. They prayed for world peace and prosperity in the temple. Shastri, who has gained a large following in recent years, was surrounded by his admirers while going to and returning from the temple. With many attempting to click selfies with him, he somehow managed to reach the temple and pay his obeisance. Various office bearers of the temple committee were also present on the occasion.
