Dhoni leaves Nainital after 5-day trip

Ex-skipper of Team India refused to comment on WC final

Monday, 20 November 2023 | PNS | NAINITAL

In latest news from Uttarakhand, the former skipper of the Indian cricket team M S Dhoni looked sad on the host India being beaten  by Australia in the World Cup decider in Ahmadabad while leaving Nainital on completion of his five-day private trip to Uttarakhand. But he declined to say anything on the WC final match. Notably, he had visited his ancestral village in Almora and offered puja along with his wife Sakhshi and daughter Jeeva.  While his wife and daughter had done sightseeing the former ace cricketer had chosen to remain cloistered in the guest house he stayed in while in Nainital. However, he had allowed himself to get clicked with his fans and spoken to the media, too. He spoke highly of Almora and Nainital and said that he was happy to have visited his ancestral village in Almora after a long hiatus of time. “I will come back again,” he said.
