The 15-day ‘Diksharambh-2026’ programme for newly admitted students at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology concluded on Saturday. It began with floral tributes paid to Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
Addressing the students at the closing ceremony, the vice-chancellor, Shivendra Kumar Kashyap urged students not to be discouraged by failure but to strive continuously for success and to contribute to national service by drawing inspiration from the life of A P J Abdul Kalam.
The closing ceremony included a quiz, feedback, group presentations and report presentations. A total of 812 new students from various undergraduate courses at the university participated in this programme held from August 18 to September 5.
