Discussions on importance of Yoga & Ayurveda held on fifth day of IYF-2023

Laser show in the evening enthralls participants from India & abroad
Discussions on various aspects of Yoga and Ayurveda were held on the fifth day of the International Yoga Festival-2023 underway at Muni Ki Reti in Rishikesh on Sunday. A laser show also enthralled the participants in the evening.
The day began with two-hour Yoga sessions conducted by instructors from six Yoga institutions involved with the Tourism department. Noted laughter Yoga expert Manoj Rangad conducted a session on laughter Yoga for the second day. He said that this method is very beneficial in today’s busy lifestyle as it reduces anxiety and tension while also strengthening the immune system by refreshing the mind.
A panel discussion on Ayurveda saw experts sharing their views on this system which has been prevalent for thousands of years. They pointed out how people across the world are understanding the importance of Ayurveda and observing its principles. The panelists included Ayurved university vice chancellor Sunil Joshi, former director of Charak Sansthan Hari Mohan, Dr Sanjeevan Devdhar and Bharatiya Chikitsa Parishad Uttarakhand head Dr JN Nautiyal.
After the Ganga Arti in the evening, a laser show was also appreciated by the participants.
