The regional employment office of Dehradun will organize a job fair on its premises on September 9 in which 38 private companies will be offering job opportunities to unemployed youth of the district.
The regional employment officer (REO), Ajay Singh informed that interested candidates can register offline in the employment office by filling out the application form along with required documents by September 8 till 5 PM. He said that a total of 38 companies will participate in the job fair to provide jobs to candidates aged 18 to 45 years and only registered candidates would be allowed to participate in the job fair.
He said that both fresher and experienced candidates are allowed to participate in the job fair. The candidates with even minimum qualification of class VIII can apply for a job at the job fair too.
He informed that interviews will be held for over 1,200 posts for several types of jobs offering annual salaries ranging from Rs 8,000 to Rs 40,000. Singh informed that job fairs are organized regularly by the district administration with the aim to create and provide employment opportunities for unemployed youths and he is optimistic that several candidates will get jobs through this fair this time too.
