In latest news from Doon, the seventh convocation of the DIT University was held at a time when it is celebrating its silver jubilee. Notably, the college started its academic journey in 1998 and was recognised as a university in 2013. The chancellor Prof N Ravi Shankar presided over the convocation ceremony and the vice-chancellor Prof G Raghurama in his address recounted the experiences of the university in 20220-23. The noted educationist and founder of Foundation of Liberal and Management Education (FLAME) Prof Parag Shah in his address as the chief guest dwelt in details on the multiple challenges the world of academics has been facing in the 21st century and also recounted his campus recruitment experience. In all, 1250 students received degrees for the academic year 2022-23 and among them were 27 PhDs.
