Patanjali’s Divya Yoga Mandir Trust received dual accreditation at a programme organised under the aegis of National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) in New Delhi on Wednesday.
Expressing happiness over the development, the general secretary of Divya Yoga Mandir Trust Acharya Balkrishna said that with this award of dual recognition, the trust has become an institution to evaluate and award skills, adding that Patanjali’s efforts for skill development, self-reliant India and employment generation would be further strengthened. Plus, over 60 courses of vocational education will be available for the youths to choose, he said.
“Against the backdrop of the fast-paced changes occurring in India as well as the world, skill development has assumed critical importance for individuals in boosting their employment opportunities. This will not just make the youth self-reliant but create abundant employment opportunities for others,” he added.
