The Tehri district magistrate Mayur Dixit inspected the ongoing work for the badminton hall being executed by the district sports department to improve the sports facilities for the players. He specially inspected the arrangements for changing room, toilet, chairs, net, light and drinking water among others and asked the officials concerned to complete the works within a month. He also inspected the gallery in the football ground.
Besides, the DM reviewed the functioning of the two approved Kendriya Vidyalayas in Madan Negi and Narendra Nagar. He talked to the teachers and directed the officers concerned to prepare a plan regarding smooth functioning of these schools to be sent it to the Directorate of Education.
