The Tehri district magistrate Mayur Dixit directed the education department officers to conduct unannounced inspection of schools to check whether the teachers turn up punctually and take action against those who turn up late and skip duties. Also, he stressed on 100 per cent student attendance. Further, he told them to inspect the ongoing construction works in schools and ensure their completion at the earliest. Regarding the upcoming board examinations, he directed them to prepare a package of previous years’ papers for the examines for practice. This might help them prepare better, he added.
