DM directs for strict action against black marketing of LPG
In view of the complaints of black marketing of cooking gas, the Dehradun district magistrate, Ashish Kumar Srivastava has instructed the district supply officer (DSO) to conduct raids across the district. He has asked the officials to take legal action against the offenders involved in illegal refilling and black marketing of cooking gas.
While conducting a meeting with the heads of various departments in the Collectorate prominently including the health department, education department and irrigation department, Srivastava ordered all the officials concerned to complete their respective projects as soon as possible. He directed the chief medical officer (CMO) to appoint staff in those health centres which have inadequate staff. Moreover, DM also instructed the education department to speed up the procedure of constructing a board examination centre in Chakrata so that the school children will not have to go far for board exams every year.
