While chairing Ganga Conservation Committee meeting here on Friday, the Haridwar district magistrate, Karmendra Singh directed the district Horticulture department to see to it that 1, 84,000 saplings are planted under Namami Gange to mark the World Environment Day on June 5. Besides, he instructed the officers present to identify 20 Ganga Gram Sabhas for plantation programmes.
