The Dehradun district magistrate Sonika has issued an order on Wednesday to carry out externment proceedings against 13 people for the next six months as per the verdict given in the cases disposed of in the district magistrate’s court under the Goonda Act. Earlier, the DM has also ordered to extern 12 people including 10 people for six months and two for three months. The officials informed that so far the DM has ordered externment proceedings against a total of 25 people in the district under various police stations including seven in Vikasnagar, five in Clement Town, three in Nehru Colony, two each in Sahaspur, Raipur and Patel Nagar and one each in cantonment, Premnagar, Rajpur and Dalanwala.
