In latest news from Uttarakhand, the district magistrate Vandana and the Lalkuan MLA Mohan Bisht sparred at the meeting convened by the Nainital MP Ajay Bhatt. The legislator vented his anger on the ‘inadequate’ administrative response to the plight of the flood- affected people living within his constituency limits. Visibly perturbed, the DM retorted that it was difficult for her to continue working under these circumstances.
As the two engaged in the verbal spat, a helpless Bhatt wondered aloud about the state of affairs in Nainital.
