Orange alert of heavy shower issued by Met centre

In latest Uttarakhand news, in view of the Met centre having issued orange alert of heavy rain, the Nainital district magistrate Vandana declared holiday in all the government and private schools as well as anganwadi centres across the district on July 14. Heavy rain keeps pounding several places of the district since the morning. The district administration officers said that the holiday announcement had been made by the DM to ensure safety of the children amidst the incessant rain spell.
