The Dehradun district magistrate R Rajesh Kumar has directed the officials of the Public Works Department (PWD) and Dehradun Smart City Limited (DSCL) to repair all the damages caused due to the construction works in the city.
Kumar along with Rajpur Road MLA Khajan Das inspected the area near Vikas Bhawan on Tuesday after complaints of locals about the heavy leakage of sewerage there. After inspection, Kumar directed the officials of PWD and DSCL to repair the leakage within two days. He also ordered the officials to do all such repair works in the city to avoid any inconvenience to the public.
If such damages will not be repaired in the given time, the DM said that the administration will take strict action against the officials concerned.
