In latest news from Doon, in view of reports of members of a family purchasing plots of land in different names flouting the 250 sq m purchase ceiling announced by the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for the non-domiciled residents, the district magistrate Savin Bansal directed the sub-divisional magistrates to prepare a detailed report involving the lands purchased by the non-natives of the State in a week.
Also, he said that investigations would be conducted to determine whether such lands had been purchased in dviolation of the rules.
