In a disturbing trend the health care workers who are at the forefront of the battle against Covid-19 are getting infected with the virus even after being inoculated with two doses of the vaccine. On Thursday the medical superintendent of the Government Doon Medical College (GDMC) hospital Dr K C Pant was found infected with the disease.
He was tested for the disease after his wife was reported positive for the disease. Interestingly Pant had received both the doses of vaccine and was infected earlier also. On Wednesday two doctors of the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya hospital (Coronation) were found positive for Covid-19. These doctors had received both the first and second dose of the vaccine.
