Doon Cambridge School celebrated the 76th Republic Day with patriotic fervour. The students, teachers and staff members attended in large numbers. The principal Monika Arora and the chief proctor Avinash Shukla unfurled the tricolour. This was followed by the students delivering inspiring speech on the importance of the day in the nation’s life and recited quotes on patriotism.
To mark this occasion, the school hosted inter- house patriotic song competition which witnessed participation from each house. A panel of music experts Shikha Rawat and Veer Rajput judged their performances. Junior School (Grade III) presented their skit on fundamentals Rights.
The principal while dwelling on the significance of the day exhorted the students to uphold the values of democracy, equality of all citizens and justice.
