Teachers’ Day was celebrated at Doon Cambridge School with the participation of teachers and students. The organisers of the commemorative programme said that the school building was decorated with flowers and balloons. The programme commenced with tribute being paid to Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan whose birth anniversary is nationally celebrated as Teachers’ Day. It was followed by musical presentation by the school’s choir group and dance drama presented by senior students. The programme ended with the principal’s address that stressed on showering respect on the teachers.
