With temperatures consistently rising, the State is forecast to witness dry weather on Sunday. However, the provisional State capital Dehradun may witness thundercloud development. The State meteorological centre has forecast that Dehradun will witness a mainly clear to partly cloudy sky today.
Thundercloud development is likely to occur in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 30 degrees Celsius and 16 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun today.
Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the State on Saturday were 29.8 degrees Celsius and 15.2 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 31.1 degrees Celsius and 14.6 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 21.4 degrees Celsius and 5.6 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 20.2 degrees Celsius and eight degrees Celsius in New Tehri.
