Doon students pass CBSE exams with flying colours

Students of various schools in Dehradun scored good marks in the CBSE class X and XII exams, the results of which were declared on Friday. In Doon International School, class XII results a total of 83 students scored more than 90 per cent. Palak Gupta topped humanities stream with 98.2 per cent, Rishabh Rawat and Akshita Bisht topped the science stream with 98 per cent while Aditya Nautiyal topped the commerce stream with 98.2 per cent. In class X, 135 students scored more than 90 per cent with Pranjal Joshi topping the school with 99.4 per cent. School director HS Mann said, “We are glad that our children have once again lived up to all expectations by excelling in large numbers.”

According to The Asian School, its class X student Agrima Pradhan is the CBSE region topper with 499 marks out of 500. Anoushka Rawat topped class XII with 97.6 per cent. The school achieved a 100 per cent pass percentage in both classes X and XII with 10 and 32 students respectively of classes XII and X scoring more than 95 per cent.

In class XII of Delhi Public School, Dehradun, Arjun Chawla topped the science stream with 98.4 per cent, Saanvi Rana and Srishti Benjwal topped commerce stream with 97.2 per cent, Bhavya Gujral topped humanities stream with 99.4 per cent. Further, 74 out of 191 students scored above 90 per cent. In class X Shardul Pradhan topped with 98.8 per cent followed by Atharv Shaily and Yashasvi Sharma with 98.6 per cent and 98 per cent respectively. Out of 178 students, 63 scored above 90 per cent. The school principal BK Singh and staff members congratulated the students and their parents on the results.In the Kasiga School, Shriyam Tiwari topped class XII science stream with 97 per cent, Ella Ngente topped humanities stream with 95.8 per cent and Aditya Harlalka topped commerce stream with 94.5 per cent. In all 23 per cent students secured above 90 per cent in class XII exams. In class X, Mansi Sharma topped with 99 per cent followed by Vasu Chawla with 93.8 per cent, Harshita Yadav with 91.8 per cent and Pratishtha Agarwal with 90.4 per cent.
