The Doon University will organise the entrance examination for students to enroll in under graduate and post graduate courses on June 15. Providing the information, the university registrar MS Mandrawal said that the enrollment will be open to students from all over India for specific courses. For the academic session 2024-2025, the university has chosen to conduct an entrance examination to facilitate the enrollment of students in under graduate and post graduate courses. The examination is scheduled to take place on June 15 at four designated centres in Delhi, Haldwani, Lucknow and Dehradun, he said.
He further informed that the examination taking place at the designated university centre will be computer-based. Approximately 3,000 students have registered for the entrance examination for both graduate and post-graduate courses this year. He further emphasised that the entrance examination will be conducted in four shifts — 8 AM to 10 AM, 10 PM to 1 PM, 2 PM to 4 PM and 5 PM to 7 PM. To ensure surveillance at the centres, deputy observers have been selected for each of the four centres. These observers are professors from the university who will visit the centres to ensure there are no issues or disruptions during the examination process, he said.
The university registrar further emphasised that students must possess their admit cards in order to access the examination. The admit card can be obtained by downloading it from the official website of Doon University. Additionally, he informed that a total of 800 seats are available for under graduate courses and 500 to 600 seats for post graduate students this academic year at the university.
It will be recalled that the admission application process for enrolling in under graduate and post graduate courses at Doon University began on April 20 and concluded on May 31.
