In latest news from Uttarakhand, Haridwar police arrested the prime accused of the dowry death case who had been absconding. Sharing details of the case, police said that as per the complaint filed by the grandfather of the deceased woman at Piran Kaliyar police station on October 8, alleging that her husband Deepak Kumar and his family members, residents of Habibpur, Nawada under Piran Kaliyar police station limits, had murdered his granddaughter over dowry demand, police had formed a team to nab the accused. The arrested accused has been sent to jail, police said and added that they are on lookout for the other fugitive accused of the dowry death case.
