Delhi Public School, Dehradun encouraged its students to make Rakhis for their brothers in the armed forces as a token of gratitude and respect for them.
Colonel Sanjay Malik from Dehradun sub area was invited to the school to receive a box full of handmade rakhis and chocolates for the soldiers at the border at Siachen, far away from their homes. He said, “It is a very thoughtful and heart-melting gesture by the kids.”
