Noted orthopaedic surgeon and Padma Shri recipient Dr BKS Sanjay presented copies of his books’ From the Pen of Surgeons’ and ‘Uphar Sandesh Ka’ to the governor lieutenant general (retd) Gurmit Singh on Thursday.
The book Uphar Sandesh Ka is a compilation of Sanjay’s poetry while From the Pen of Surgeons is a compilation of guest columns written by him and orthopaedic surgeon Dr Gaurav Sanjay in The Pioneer. Their columns featured in this newspaper dwell on various issues ranging from health, road traffic accidents, education and other societal issues.
