Padma Shri recipient orthopaedic surgeon Dr BKS Sanjay was presented the Kabir Kohinoor award by Satguru Kabir Ashram Sewa Sansthan, Rajasthan and Satguru Kabir Samadhi Sthali, Uttar Pradesh for his distinguished social welfare work. The award was presented at an event in Dr Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi. Sanjay received the award from Nanak Das of Satguru Kabir Ashram Sewa Sansthan and Lokesh Muni of Ahinsha Vishwa Bharti in presence of senior BJP leader Shyam Jaju and others.
Along with his regular practice, Dehradun-based Dr Sanjay has been holding free medical camps and awareness lectures across the State for many years to raise awareness on issues ranging from health to road traffic accidents.
