A driver and conductor of a private bus were arrested in Dehradun with 2.58 kilogrammes of charas worth about Rs five lakhs. Singh said that the the suspects revealed during interrogation that they had been operating on the Dehradun-Purola Uttarkashi route for a considerable time, purchasing charas at lower prices from the Purola area and hiding it in the bus to sell in Dehradun at inflated prices.
