In latest news from Uttarkashi, on the 13th day of the rescue operation at the collapsed tunnel at Silkyara, the experts working for the Bengaluru-based Squadrone Infra and Mining Private Limited- contacted by the Border Road Organisation (BRO)- shared pictures of the insides of the Silkyara tunnel captured by advanced drones through artificial intelligence. A senior officer of the company Pravat said that their radar sensor and geophysical sensor-laced drones had captured visuals of the insides of the tunnel and these were shared with the rescue teams. He further said that these advanced drones are quite capable of scanning through accumulated debris. The rescuers said that these inside visuals of the tunnel would help the evacuation operation a lot. Notably, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has been staying put at the site, hoping that the evacuation operation would come to a successful end by the end of this day.
