Uttarakhand Special Task Force( STF ) carried out a raid in Almora Jail on Tuesday and exposed the black business of drugs where two people by the name of Mahipal and Ankit Bisht were running drug racket. A mobile phone, 24000 in cash and three earphones were seized from Mahipal. Seven teams of STF raided Almora Jail, Pauri, Kotdwar, Dehradun and Rishikesh along with several other places and arrested 5 people from which huge quantities of charas and ganja was recovered. According to STF SSP, this was the fourth jail operation and this time inter district network of narcotics was busted. The STF team was engaged in interrogation of all the accused till late evening.
