Drug smuggler with 50 K bounty nabbed from Nepal border

In a major breakthrough, Special Task Force (STF) under Nainital police nabbed a notorious drug trafficker with international connection from Nepal border.  Police said that the drug peddler had been arrested 11 years after a case had been lodged at the Kathgodam police station under Narcotics Drugs & Psychotropic Substances (NSPS) Act, 1985. Police further said he had been carrying a bounty of Rs 50,000 on his head, adding that on fleeing India, he had started living in Nepal permanently from where he carried on with his drug peddling work into Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh, principally.

Sharing further information, Nainital SSP Navneet Singh Bhullar said that Ravindra Singh, resident of Vasant Kunj, Delhi, who had been arrested along with his accomplice Pradip on December 12, 2013, had jumped the bail and since then he had been at large.
