Dry weather is likely to prevail in the State on Saturday. The provisional State capital Dehradun is forecast to witness a mainly clear sky with the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to be about 30 degrees Celsius and 14 degrees Celsius respectively today. The variation between the maximum and minimum temperature in Dehradun was nearly 17 degrees Celsius on Friday and is forecast to be about 16 degrees Celsius on Saturday. While the daytime is warm and sunny, the nights and early mornings are getting colder.
The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various places on Friday were 30.1 degrees Celsius and 13.5 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 30.5 degrees Celsius and 13.5 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 17.4 degrees Celsius and eight degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 21.4 degrees Celsius and 8.8 degrees Celsius in New Tehri.
