Friday, 19 APRIL 2024 | PNS | PITHORAGARH

In latest news from Uttarakhand, in tune with the trend of the young voters taking their voting rights seriously, a young groom Bhupendra, who hails from a village in Gangolihat of Pithoragarh district and now lives and works in Dubai, insisted that he would vote first and only then the wedding procession would start. Clinging to his resolution, he went to the polling booth set up at the government primary school run by gram sabha and cast his vote. Only then the procession left for Haldwani.  Notably, he reached his village a few days ago for wedding.
