Duo arrested for duping through fake recruitment centre

The police have busted a fake recruitment centre in Haridwar and arrested two persons including the alleged mastermind running the recruitment centre.  The names of the arrested accused are Vipin and Saqib.  The gang’s mastermind Vipin is an MSc degree holder and was allegedly cheating unemployed persons on the pretext of providing them jobs.

Superintendent of police (Rural) Swapna Kishore Singh said that on December 26, a resident of Habibpur Kudi village of Laksar had filed a case stating that he had been cheated of Rs 20,000 in the name of a job. The police investigation into the complaint revealed that some people were cheating the unemployed by running a fake recruitment centre. In this case, the accused named Saqib from Saharanpur and Vipin from Haridwar were arrested. 

To cheat people, they had also opened offices in Saharanpur, Jagjitpur, Roorkee and Dehradun.  Fake appointment letters, computers, laptops and educational certificates of many people along with many other items have been recovered from their possession.Singh further informed that other people may also be associated with his gang, which is being investigated in detail.
