Duo found making & supplying liquor through pipes nabbed

In latest news from Uttarakhand, with the security forces keeping round- the- clock vigil to stop smuggling of cash, contrabands and liquor a few days left for the April 19 polling in the State, Kaladungi police arrested two persons on the charge of making and supplying illegal liquor through long rubber pipes from the forest area near Bankhandi temple. Sharing details, the Kaladungi police station in-charge Bhagwan Singh Mahar said that large volume of ingredients needed for making liquor along with 210 litre of raw liquor was impounded. Subsequently, the duo was booked under relevant sections of the Central Excise Act and arrested. They were identified as Amarjeet Singh (38) and Mahendra Singh (45), both residents of Kelakhera in Udham Singh Nagar district.
