Eateries in Doon offer discounts & offers for Valentine’s week

Many cafes and restaurants in Dehradun are providing offers and discounts within their establishments to attract customers as Valentine’s week approaches. Both social media marketing applications along with physical cafes and shops have introduced various offers and discounts to boost their sales during this time. Many cafe owners have stated that to draw in more customers during this special week, they have implemented a range of exclusive offers and discounts, particularly aimed at couples.
Café owner Diksha Basnet said that in anticipation of Valentine’s week, she has themed her café with romantic decorations, prominently featuring the colours red and white. She further said that each year, her café experiences a notable increase in sales during Valentine’s week as couples enjoy celebrating such occasions in pleasant settings. To attract more customers during this period, she has launched special discounts, including a 20 per cent discount on couples’ bills and more, she said.
“The Valentine’s week has become a boon for businessmen in Dehradun, whether they are in the flower business or running restaurants. Apart from offering discounts and specials for couples, I have slightly modified my menu specifically for this period. I have added Valentine-themed shakes, snacks and other items to the food menu. This will not only improve our business condition but also make people feel special,” said restaurant owner Harish Jaiswal.
Many other cafes and restaurants have been observed adopting similar strategies to attract customers during Valentine week. In addition to cafes, several bakeries in Dehradun have also been showcasing Valentine’s-themed cakes, pastries and more. Bakery owner Priyanshi Chaddha, who has been running this business for many years said that she always comes up with something new to attract customers. With the arrival of Valentine’s week, she has launched special Valentine-themed cakes, pastries and other treats for the residents.
