EdIndia to train govt teachers in digital learning

With an objective to develop digital learning competence of teachers the EdIndia Foundation (EdIndia) will train 10,000 teachers in the states of Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Tripura, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra. The training intervention shall be in the form of a self-paced interactive certificate module developed by the UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP).
The head of EdIndia Ayan Chatterjee said, “UNESCO MGIEP and EdIndia will work together to organise a series of online workshops for Master Trainers. They, in turn, will train government teachers in the five states in the field of digital learning.”
