The Education department is planning to develop a human resource portal for all its employees. All the data including the service records of all the teachers and other staff will be kept on this portal. The initiative endeavours to make the contentious process of transfers and promotions transparent and automated.
In a recent meeting with the officers of the department the Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat gave the orders for preparing this portal. He said that under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the transfer of all the teachers and employees will be done online. He said that the online transfer process will require all data and service records of employees on one platform and for this purpose the human resource portal is a good option. It will ensure that all the information about any employee is available on the click of a mouse.
The minister added that the portal will help in making the process of transfers and promotions transparent.
He said that the state government is planning to set up one residential school in every district to promote the transitional Indian knowledge. The minister said that regulations and norms for these residential schools will be prepared soon. These schools will ensure inclusion of Indian culture and traditions along with quality education. These schools will have adequate land and other basic infrastructure. The students will be given admission in VI to XII classes in these schools. Rawat said that under the NCC extension scheme one unit of NCC will be opened in one school in every block.
In the meeting the minister directed the officers to prepare DPR for the repair of the dilapidated school buildings and submit them to the state administration.
