Edu dept to telecast PM’s Pariksha par Charcha in 65000 schools

The education department of Uttarakhand is gearing up for a live telecast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Pariksha Par Charcha’ programme in more than 65,000 schools of the State. The PM would interact with students at Talkatora stadium New Delhi on January 27. The education minister Dhan Singh Rawat told media persons at the State secretariat on Wednesday that arrangements are being made to ensure that all the students of classes IX to XII, their parents and teachers see the PM’s programme. The students of colleges, aided colleges and private schools would also attend the live telecast of Pariksha Par Charcha programme of PM. “ Rawat said that two students from Uttarakhand have been nominated for having a dialogue with the PM for the programme . He informed that the chief minister and Governor of the State would also get connected to the programme. Rawat said that all ministers, Member of Parliament (MP), MLAs, recipients of Padma awards, people associated with education, art and culture , public representatives and the representatives of municipal corporations and Nagar Palikas would attend the programme of PM. He claimed that the programme would be telecast live in 65,464 government, aided and private schools of the State. The minister further informed that in view to provide extensive publicity of the Pariksha Par Charcha programme, drawing completion would be organised in the schools in all 95 blocks and eight municipal corporations from January 20 to 23. The winners of the competition would be felicitated and all the participants would be handed over certificates.
The education secretary Ravinath Raman and director general (DG) school education Bansidhar Tiwari were present on the occasion.
