In latest news from Uttarakhand, as part of the nation-wide celebration of the ritualistic consecration of Ram Lalla at the temple being built at his believed birthplace in Ayodhya, Manjira Devi Shikshan Avam Prashikshan Sansthan based in Uttarkashi organised a bhandara for the devotees where vegetarian food was served. Keeping in view the great spiritual/religious significance of the day, the educational institution arranged Ramayana and Hanuman Chalisa recitations along with havan at the Nageshwar Mahadev temple located in the institute’s premises, said the institute’s director Harishankar Nautiyal and chairman Bhagwan Nautiyal and added that students, teachers and other staffers besides people from nearby villages participated in the programmes. They further said that they had made it a point to involve the rural people in their programmes marking the consecration and they had participated in large numbers with fervour and devotion.
