In latest news from Doon, the State education minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that it is mandatory for all the higher educational institutions situated across Uttarakhand to implement the universal academic calendar released by the government, adding that instructions have been sent to the State higher education directorate and the senior officers of all the government-run universities on this matter. He further emphasised that results of the exams must be published in time and the admission tests must be held at the appropriate time so as to ensure that the studies of the students are not affected.
Rawat again laid stress on ‘one admission, one exam, one result, one election and one convocation’ for all higher educational institutions in the State.
