Education dept to start process of upgradation of schools

 The School Education department of the State will soon start the process of upgradation of the schools which fulfil the criteria.

The Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat convened a review meeting of the department at his residence on Tuesday. In the meeting, he expressed annoyance at the delay in the process of upgradation of the schools. In the meeting the minister directed the officers to start the process of upgradation of the school who fulfil the necessary criteria. He directed that the department should seek proposals from the districts through the chief education officers regarding upgradation of the junior high school and high schools.

He said that timely upgradation of the schools will help the local students in receiving education.

 In the meeting the minister said that the orders for upgradation of nine high schools of the State to inter colleges will be issued soon.

The additional secretary Ranjana Rajguru, director general education Bansidhar Tiwari, additional secretary MM Semwal, director in charge primary education AK Naudiyal, director secondary education Mukul Sati and others attend the meeting.
